As our Youth Worker, you’ll be the heartbeat of our youth initiatives. You’ll work closely with our Operations Manager to bring our projects to life, support young people on their journeys, and ensure everything runs smoothly. What You’ll Do?

Organize Activities: Plan and lead youth activities that inspire, educate, and empower together with a team of ESC volunteers from abroad.
Mentor and Guide: Be a role model and mentor to young people, helping them navigate their educational and career paths.
Support Operations: Assist the Operations Manager with project coordination, event planning, and day-to-day operations.
Facilitate Communication: Keep everyone in the loop—coordinate between team members, volunteers, and external partners.
Continuous Improvement: Always be on the lookout for ways to enhance our youth programs and make them even more impactful.
Build Relationships: Engage with youth, volunteers, partners, and community members to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
Handle Admin Tasks: Keep things organized with paperwork, scheduling, and other administrative duties.
Social Impact: Contribute to a larger movement of social change by empowering the next generation of leaders and changemakers.

What You Bring?

Background: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Youth Development, or something similar. Relevant experience counts too!
Experience: 2-3 years working with youth, preferably in a non-profit or educational setting.
Leadership: You’re a natural leader who can motivate and inspire young people.
Communication: You’re great with people—whether it’s mentoring youth or coordinating with partners.
Problem-Solving: You can think on your feet and handle challenges with ease.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable with digital tools like Google Suite, MS Office, Zoom, Slack, Slite and more.
Languages: Fluency in English and Bulgarian (spoken and written) is essential.

Extra Points For:

Clear career path track record.
Experience in the non-profit or youth development sector.
Familiarity with Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs.
Experience in mentoring or coaching young people.
References from previous employers / managers.
