We are looking for an organized and outgoing result-oriented person with well-developed analytical thinking, proactive attitude towards work and good time management. Love to animals and willingness to work for a cause are important prerequisites to become part of our team.
Main responsibilities:
- Coordinates the implementation of campaigns for improving animal welfare in Bulgaria;
- Communicating and collaborating daily with a diverse international team;
- Coordinates the active communication with external brands, experts, subcontractors, competent authorities, non-government organizations and other stakeholders;
- Prepares letters and complaints related to the welfare of companion, farm, and wild animals;
- Reaches out to stakeholders, organizes meetings, events, and participates in them;
- Organizes the logistics of events and actions;
- Monitors relevant animal welfare topics;
- Responds to internal and external enquiries;
- Assists the administration of day-to-day campaign activities and projects;
- Keeps detailed records of work done and maintains campaign filing systems;
- Participates in the process of organization and planning of activities;
- Develops and fills in different templates;
- Conducts in-depth desk research and reports;
- Compiles information in a clear and methodical way;
- Conducts surveys, collects data, and summarizes information;
- Participates in interviews and works with the media;
- Participates in field investigations and other work trips when needed.
Requirements for the job:
- Higher education in Social Science although not a must, is highly desirable and will be considered as a plus (e.g. Public Administration, Political Science, European Studies, Sociology, etc.)
- Good command of English and Bulgarian (written and spoken);
- At least 1 year of experience on a similar position;
- Experienced user of MS Outlook, Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Ability to carry out administrative duties effectively;
- Awareness of, and an interest in, animal welfare and the non-governmental sector
- Ability to demonstrate high levels of creativity and openness to new ideas;
- Desire to learn, develop and advance;
- Pro-active attitude and reliability;
- Prior experience working with NGOs either professionally or voluntarily will be considered as a plus.
- Personal interest in topics related to fashion, fashion brands and animal welfare in fashion will be considered as a plus.
