Main responsibilities:
- Produce CE integrated plans;
- Ensure that all plans align to the international Campanian Animal strategy;
- Develop and manage all relevant stakeholder partnerships needed to deliver the community engagement programme in Bulgaria;
- Identify and engage suitable communities for CE roll out in Bulgaria;
- Be the point of contact for all correspondence/meetings with the stakeholders re the CE process;
- Set up and facilitate stakeholders’ workshops/webinars/presentations;
- Train additional workshop facilitators as and when needed;
- Liaise with Head of Stray Animal Care BG and Head of Programmes BG coordination and implementation of related CE activities;
- Manage the CE budget and any supplier relationships in terms of the programme delivery;
- Produce CE collateral (as per international guidance) in Bulgarian language for use at workshops/meetings etc.;
- Coordinate community engagement project evaluation ensuring that all key indicators are measured and reported on;
- Provide regular reports on project status and results;
- Promote the CE work in Bulgaria on a national level.
Requirements for the job:
- University degree, any additional qualification in the fields relevant to the work of FOUR PAWS are a bonus;
- Good command of written and spoken Bulgarian and English;
- Good IT skills including use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel;
- Ability to carry out administrative duties effectively;
- Awareness of, and an interest in, animal welfare and the non-governmental sector;
- Ability to demonstrate high levels of creativity and openness to new ideas;
- Desire to learn, develop and advance personal career prospects;
- Pro-active attitude and reliability;
- Driving license – category B.
- Willingness to travel
