The English Language Café and Multi Kulti Collective invite you to attend the next instalment of our weekly Idea Exchange Series: Yemeni Culture and Tea Preparation with Sara AlKaf

Who is our guest speaker, and what should you expect at the event?

Sara AlKaf is an interior designer and refugee from Yemen who has been living in Bulgaria since 2015. As a dedicated member of the National Assembly of Refugees, Sara is passionate about transforming society’s perception of refugees, advocating for their freedom and dignity.

A proud mother of two, Sara is known for her active, energetic, and enthusiastic personality. She loves meeting new people and embraces every opportunity to share her culture and experiences.

At this week’s English Language Café, Sara will demonstrate the art of preparing tea from her hometown, using the traditional samovar technique. While the tea brews, she will offer an introduction to Yemeni culture, briefly touching on topics such as fashion and architecture.

Following Sara’s presentation we will continue the evening with engaging small-group conversations as part of our English Idea Exchange.
