History
The Bulgarian Animal Protection Shelter is one of the few East Sofian Animal shelters working to not only protect the right, care and shelter homeless and stray animals, but to also find stray animals new homes.
Strays are more prevalent in the streets than beggars in a third world country. This is because there were no neutering policies up until a few years ago 'Vera's mother (owner of E.S.A Institute) was involved in having this law changed in Sofia which means cats and dogs are taken of f the street to be neutered and placed back on the street, unfortunately in most cases not where they are found.
