CONCORDIA Social Projects is an international non-profit and non-governmental organization that supports children, young people and families in need. CONCORDIA Social projects is operating in Austria, Bulgaria, the Republic of Moldova, Romania and Kosovo.
For the development of the Fundraising and communication program nationally and internationally, we are looking for a new team- member – a „Communication expert”.
Main responsibilities:
- Researching, writing/composing stories (Human Interest Stories) for the international and national fundraising program - online and offline;
- Cooperation with external service providers (e.g. photographers, video production, media);
- Responsible for an interface between On- and Off-Line Fundraising;
- Creating and editing communication and fundraising materials
- Communication activities – writing for the social media channels of CONCORDIA Bulgaria, preparation of pres-releases, materials for the national website, taking pictures;
- Preparation of texts for the promotion materials of the organization;
- Responsible for online communication (newsletters, stories etc.);
- Responsible for organizing events and visits;
- Organization of media appearances on social topics of experts of the Foundation.
Skills required:
- Experience in the field of Communication and/or Fundraising (minimum 3 years preferably);
- Fluency in English and Bulgarian language;
- Strong skills in words and expression;
- Basic knowledge of marketing tools/fundraising instruments such as direct mailings, e-newsletters, and e-mailings;
- Professional experience in Fundraising, PR or comparable fields (e.g. journalism) is an advantage;
- Skills in photography;
- Excellent computer skills;
- Sensitive to themes/stories on social topics;
- Readiness to travel and to work in an international team;
- Cross-cultural understanding.
